I am an obsessive film buff who has been this way since the age of four when my parents took me to see "The Towering Inferno". My interests are not only limited to films as I have an intense interest in pop music as well. Especially from the 1970s and 80s. I'm a nostalgic old fool who remembers and loves the decades of my youth. My tastes seem to skew toward the chessy side of pop but that's another story. I'm also an avid reader who loves great fiction, my favorite book being, 'The World According to Garp. read more' If you've read it you probably know more about me than anything else I could say here. I currently am the chief film critic for Focus Newspapers out of Hickory NC and write a weekly film history column there as well. You can read my work at www.focusnewspaper.com. I hope this helps you to learn a little bit about me and I hope to make some friends who are similarly minded. I have been divorced for seven years and have two wonderful children. Favorite films include Blow Out, Network, JFK, Summer of 42, The Other, All that jazz and pretty much all of Tarantino's output.
