Hundreds of movies started out first as books.  I thought it would be fun to build an on-going list of the films based on books. What are some of your favorites?  Did you enjoy the book or movie better?

For starters - one of my recent favorites... 

The Hunger Games - Loved the movie, but did enjoy the book a bit more.  The book had more time to explore the topic and characters.
